Open Hearth Wins Two More Awards!

Open Hearth has won the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce Community Betterment Award, and the Inglis Foundation Commendation Award for Excellence.

Open Hearth developed the Gateway Program, in partnership with Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and the John Lazarich Foundation to join forces with mental health service providers to address the need for housing assistance in our community for homeless people seeking mental health treatment.  We expanded the program to serve all of Chester County and portions of Montgomery county, and deepened the service to also include homeless persons seeking drug or alcohol treatment.  Open Hearth received the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce Community Betterment Award, recognizing the Gateway Program as an effective program of emergency housing for homeless individuals with mental health or drug and alcohol treatment needs.

Open Hearth also received the coveted Inglis Foundation Commendation of Excellence for our work with persons with disabilities.

While these two awards are only a few of the many Open Hearth has received, they are very important to us, and we are very grateful for this recognition of our important contribution to our community.  If you would like to support Open Hearth and our work, please consider making a donation by clicking on the upper left part of this screen under "How You Can Help". - Thank you!
